I wonder why do they have to make the burn.Is there any reason why they're doing skipping a card before the turn will be revealed?

I saw this article on what is the purpose of burn.It says that
it protects the top of the deck. If a card is marked, the Burn Card does not allow the marker (or someone that sees a bad card) know that it is coming off the deck and will be play.

Exactly, it's used to prevent the marking of cards and although it's unfortunate if it's the one you wanted, thats how it goes.

It's a shame they have to take preventative measures such as this but there are cheats out there.

Essential in some games, not quite so in others. With the high quality decks that are used in most places these days its hard to "mark" cards or notice any real differences that would give away what was coming next, though it's always nice to know that nobody could tell even if they wanted to.

I think dealers do keep an eye on the cards, though the extra precautions never go amiss when you see so many underhand players knocking around.

It's a shame, but I guess they have found a better "skill" to practice.
