Well my small bankroll took some hits at the .50/$1 NL tables and the $1/$2 limit tables and low and behold I had only $56 left. Oh what is one to do? Hmmmm. I've got it. Take your last $56 bucks and sit at a $2/$4 limit table. The answer was so simple LOL. Well that's what I did. I post an auto blind of $2 and get dealt A4o. Well I've seen worse. Couple of callers and then a raise. A say screw it and call. Partly protecting the blind I posted and partly figuring I had one bet in already why not throw one more in to see the flop. That flop contained 2 fours.

After winning the hand and having $90 in front of me I am immediately called a, and I quote, "lucky fish" Hmmmmm I'm fairly certain I didn't appreciate that. Left the table with about $150 so a profit of approximately $100 in less than an hour. Not bad for a "lucky fish" huh?

Back to the $1/$2 table I go and lose a rather quick $25 grrrrrrrrr. This leaves me witrh $125 and a major dilema. Up $20 for the day, hey not bad considering I've only been on the tables about 10 hours today LOL. But anyway my dilema. What the hell to do now? This crazy insanity started back on Dec 31 with a small $25 deposit on Pokerroom and naturally heading straight for the .50/$1 table and once up to $50 of course it's time for $1/$2. Crazy? Hell yeah. StarlightCoast is an assylum escapee? Possibly. But since I was short on cash I wanted to build the bankroll and anyone who has seen my posts in the past knows I rarely let a bankroll amount stop me from playing where I don't belong like $1/$2 and $2/$4. During this time I have also made a $100 withdrawel. I knew the household finaces could use the boost and besides it had been awhile since I took my wife to dinner so it was money well spent. But I know this crazy playing above my limit can't last forever and with $125 I have 250 bb for .25/.50 and the whole point of this insanity was to build it to a proper bankroll.

Now in the past I have posted certain thoughts about .25/.50 and believe me when I tell you they still are oh so true, but maybe I'm just making excuses or more to the truth letting my emotions get the better of me when I get outdrawn. So I am going to try to stay put at this limit and either get the $300 in the bankroll I want for .50/$1 and move up limits the correct way or go broke trying and then start all over again. But you know, there's this invisible force that makes my mouse click on the $1/$2 tables and then I have to sit in since I'm there, don't I? Well, we'll have to get something to counteract that force that does it to me. I think it's called discipline or something like that. Anyone know where I can get a strict dose of that? probably have to find it on my own. Oh well, I'll do my best.

It's willpower, and willpower only. I know the feeling, I love going in on the higher limit tables although as you've seen for yourself theres far more to be won or lost - and if you've not got much to play with then you can quickly find yourself out of chips and nothing in reserve.

No easy way about it, just keep playing at it and keep in mind you're playing to have a go on the higher limit tables.
